Our office is excited to participate in the Congressional App Challenge. Every year, this nationwide competition allows high school students from across the country to compete against their peers by creating and exhibiting their software application, or “app”, for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice.

The App Challenge takes place every fall. Middle and high school students who attend a school within New York's 14th Congressional District are welcome to apply. Those interested in participating are encouraged to register here by September 20, 2019.

Submissions must be received by November 1, 2019. Apps will be judged by a panel of individuals within the academic, software and entrepreneurial fields. The winning student’s app will be featured on the U.S. House of Representative’s website, as well as on display in a U.S. Capitol exhibit. Students can register as a team or as an individual.
