14th District of New York
New York’s 14th District represents more than 650,000 people across parts of the Bronx and Queens. Our neighborhoods include sections of:
- Astoria, College Point, Corona, North Corona, East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Sunnyside and Woodside in Queens
- Pelham Gardens, City Island, Country Club, Van Nest, Morris Park, Parkchester, Pelham Bay, Schuylerville, Allerton and Throggs Neck in the Bronx
New York’s 14th Congressional District is one of the nation’s most diverse districts and one of the fastest-growing in New York state. Throughout the district you will find rich cultural legacies from a number of communities and more than 200 languages represented.
Growth has not just been limited to population. Within the Bronx, since 2017, there have been more business than at any time since at least 1975. In Queens, immigrants make up over 40 percent of the borough’s population, as well as representing more than half the workforce.
From each corner, the district now gets to represent a community with a longstanding cultural legacy. There you will find a number of museums, historical sites, and parks available to visit. Particular points of interest include The Louis Armstrong House, Queens Museum, Astoria Park, New York Hall of Science, NY Botanical Garden, Pelham Bay Park, and many more.”
