Congressional Art Competition
The Office of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez invites your high school students to participate in the 2026 Congressional Art Competition!
The Congressional Art Competition is a nationwide competition hosted by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. In collaboration with art teachers across our district, students submit entries to our office, and our panel selects the winning entry. The winner’s artwork is recognized in a special reception by the Congressional Institute and displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. You can view all winning entries here.
This spring, our office is again accepting entries as high-resolution photos. Please find the 2026 Rules for Students and Teachers as well as the 2026 Student Information and Release Form.
We ask teachers and students to submit all entries to NY14Art@mail.house.gov. The deadline to submit artwork to our office is Friday, April 24th, 2026, at 5pm.
We hope this competition is an opportunity for students in New York’s 14th Congressional District to express themselves and showcase their artistic abilities.
