Every year, middle and high school students are invited to create a software application as part of the Congressional App Challenge. Each Member of Congress then selects a winner from their district, and all the winners gather in D.C. for a celebration.

Middle and high school students who attend a school OR live in New York's 14th Congressional District are welcome to apply.

Students may register as individuals or as teams of up to four. No more than four students are allowed to form a team.

Students can register here for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge and start coding their apps for 2025. The competition deadline is October 30th, 2025 at 12:00 pm ET. Good luck!
