This guide provides an overview of the federal grant funding available to help localities bring the Green New Deal to their communities.

Since 2019, when the Green New Deal Resolution was first introduced, there has been monumental progress on clean energy, climate, and environmental justice. The passage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) provide an historic opportunity to deliver on the most significant climate and clean energy investments in our nation’s history, putting us on a path to take on the climate crisis, repair historic harms to low-income and disadvantaged communities, and create good, union jobs.
