In a letter to the Office of Employee Assistance (OEA), the lawmakers noted the emotional and physical trauma experienced by those that worked in the Capitol complex on January 6th and the importance of addressing their emotional needs going forward.

The Congresswoman's office recently received calls from people detained at Rikers, detailing inadequate access to soap, facilities operating at high capacity, scarce healthcare resources, and poor air ventilation.
