Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14), Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03), and Congresswoman Angie Craig (MN-02) introduced the No Gratuitous Overcharging Ubiquitous Global Exports (No GOUGE) Act, which takes a comprehensive approach to crack down on corporate price gouging tactics made possible by President Trump’s tariffs.

Over 350 community members attended and 1,500 pounds of fresh produce, halal turkeys, and chicken were distributed.

The Bronx, N.Y. - This weekend, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) joined the Throggs Neck Community Alliance and GrowNYC for a food distribution in Throggs Neck. The fresh produce was purchased directly from regional farmers and distributed from GrowNYC’s Regional Food Hub to community members for free.

Queens, N.Y. - This weekend, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) joined City Harvest, New York City’s first and largest food rescue organization, to host a Food Distribution for federal workers impacted by the government shutdown at Vaughn College in Queens. Over 260 federal workers attended and more than 9,300 pounds of food were distributed.
